Volunteers Without Borders is a Canadian based not for profit organization that was established in 2012. The organization was founded by a world traveller, a humanitarian, a law enforcement officer and an adventurist. The aim of the organization is to bridge the gap between those wanting to become volunteers and local NGO organizations that need our help. This organization is run by volunteers that open doors for other volunteers wanting to volunteer abroad and make a difference to people who are less fortunate than ourselves. Thousands of people every year from all over the world give their time by volunteering in some form or another. When it comes to volunteering abroad, more people would choose to volunteer, but often become discouraged due to the high cost in program fees.
We are bridging the gap between international volunteers and local NGO organizations. We connect international volunteers with opportunities to make a difference in countries that need it the most. Volunteers Without Borders opens doors and guides volunteers to help make a difference by volunteering abroad. Instead of recruiting large volumes of volunteers and offering expensive generic programs, Volunteers Without Borders chooses to focus on quality rather than quantity which allows us to give more attention to each individual volunteer to set up a customized, safe and reliable program. From the initial application submitted to program enrolment, we stay connected with our volunteers every step of the way. From pre-departure preparation, to arrival, during the program and upon completion, we are in contact with our volunteers during each of these stages to ensure every volunteer has a safe and secure time overseas. We offer program fees that are SUBSTANTIALLY LOWER than most other organizations. The reason we are able to offer these low fees is because we send you directly to the source. We do not add any extra fees or taxes, and do not double or triple the cost of the program fees, unlike so many other volunteering organizations.

" This program in Nepal with Volunteers Without Borders was an amazing experience. The organization organized everything for me and it was so easy when I got there. My time as a volunteer in Nepal was absolutely wonderful both at the orphanage and all around it. I have never been to a community that is so trusting and honest; it is the perfect place for first time travellers who are getting out of their comfort zone. The kids at the orphanage love to do things like go for picnics in the park, make superhero masks out of paper, and play games that involve competition. They sometimes need help with homework and learning English and it is always fun to help them with both. At this orphanage, the children are treated very well, their living situation is good, and their bellies are always full. So, all in all, I would highly recommend the Nepal orphanage program with Volunteers Without Borders. "
